Another day....
"Without laughter, there is no hope, and without hope, there is nothing."
Another interview. well sort of. they were only taking walkin applicatins so i rode the train all the way to highland park and put in the application along with my resume. it is for a plumbing company, doing csr and data tracking. they did not seem to interested, but that may just be how they are. it is a small operation and they are hoping to fill the position by tomorrow and have someone start friday. because of the type of work, they may not even be interested in a male working there, or i may have priced myself out of what they want to pay. we shall see. have a legitimate interview tomorrow at 10:30 am. i am looking forward to that one alot more. will just have to see. after getting so much done yesterday i have not done anything today, but of course did not get back until around 1:30. will get alot more done tomorrow and with the holiday this week, there won't be much more job hunting until next week comes around. did check on a one way plane ticket to rapid city, i can get one for $187. want to leave on a wednesday and that would put me in rc by 10:30 am, will have time to get the truck, load it and be ready to leave on thursday. that puts me back here by friday evening, sat to unload and turn the truck in and that will be that. i am still leaning toward not going until june when the weather is warmer, but if i get a job soon i may go in march or april, even with that being the snow months, i did it last year going up there and did not have trouble, i want my stuff. i need to live in this life, not in a past one and getting my things back here will help that. yet i dont need them since i will have to live with mom and dad until at least the summer and probably on into next september. i am adjusting to life here. i get up at 5 am with dad and usually try to get to sleep by 10:30pm. when mom starts her new job next week and she has hours matching dad, things will be alot better, we all won't be in each others way so much. this is not where i want to be, but if i cannot be where i want to be, then i dont want to be anywheres else than here. hopefully when i write tomorrow i will have some good news on the job front to report. hard to know, but i will do whatever it takes.
