Nothing new...

No phone calls from prospective employers friday. that may just be because of the holiday so i will still keep my fingers crossed and my hopes up. i will get tomorrows paper and start again with faxing and emailing my resume. sooner or later one of these places will hire me, i will be the eternal optimist. have stopped smoking again, will see how long can keep it up. i am ok until i get really depressed and then i get weak. well i am human and am no different than alot of other people. will keep trying. mom and dad bought me a portable cd player yesterday. they were having one of those "6 am - noon" sales at frye's and they had several that usually sold for $40-$60 on sale for $25. i have been wanting on that plays mp3's for many months now, but i was just going to wait until they came down in this price range, and now they have. i am fortunate to have my parents and they were very kind in doing this for me while i go through this period of my life. it is really nice and it plays cd's, cd-r's, cd-rw's, and like i said, mp3's. i have made one disc with 119 songs on it and it has worked out very good. i downloaded a small free program that allows me to ad the id3 tags to the mp3 files so that the info will display on the player. still working out how to do it, not very good instructions, but i am just thankful it is a freeware program. i will get it figured out and get it set up properly. today have mostly read a book and watched football. more of the same tomorrow once we get our dinner out of the way. (mom worked thursday, so our "Thanksgiving Dinner" will be tomorrow). Christmas will be a difficult time this year, with what happened in my past life (click here to find out about that). I just want to get through it and into the new year so that i can keep my optimism going.
